《Corporate Social Responsibility Construction in China：A Front-line Report on Corporate Social Responsibility Construction In Guangdong》

Along with the continuous development of globalization, the movement of international corporate social responsibility entered our country and influenced the economy and society in China a lot. At the same time, as China’s economy is in continuously developing, the necessity that enterprises should undertake social responsibility is more and more obvious.

This book is exactly under this background. In this book we investigated, studied and summarized the development condition of the international corporate social responsibility movement in China, especially in Guangdong. In this book, we tried to have a worldwide sight on the basis of Guangdong. In the first article of the Main Topic Report Part, we discussed the effect of corporate social responsibility on Guangdong’s international trade, taking SA8000 as a representative. In the second article we reviewed and summarized the construction of social responsibility in Guangdong as a whole.

In the Selected Topics Part, we researched the construction of social responsibility in Guangdong from those aspects such as theory research, setting up a harmonizing society, private enterprise social responsibility construction, Scarcity of laborer in triangle of Pearl River and the legal system of the business corporate social responsibility construction, etc.

In the practice report part we mainly discussed those concrete topics: business enterprise in Guangdong in the environmental protection, society guarantee, conducted by law, the labor union power, public-spirited business etc.

This book analyzed the social responsibility construction circumstance of business enterprise in Guangdong in the theory level, on the basis of fact, thus having some reference values in social responsibility construction.
